Job description
Sr. Software Engineer, IQVIA Inc., Wayne, PA. May telecommute (work from home) from the tri-state area (PA/NJ/NY) and report to Wayne, PA company location. Design/develop software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized life sciences domain knowledge and developed business expertise in life sciences industry software development. Work at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development. Analyze and evaluate code issues and make decisions within general parameters under broad supervision. Lead projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity and scope. Focus on software quality standards for all aspects of work. Establish advanced software test standards and methods and conduct complex software tests. Perform code reviews and optimization of existing queries. May assist in on-boarding new Software Engineers to the team. Work M-F, 8:30am - 5:30pm EST with overtime
Requirements
and weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines, Must occasionally be on call during production deployments. Salary Range: $143,175 - $209,200/year. Requires a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires if master's one (1) year or if bachelor's three (3) years of software development experience to include (if master's one (1) year/ if bachelor's three (3) years): working with teams on software design and development projects; one (1) year (if master's or bachelor's): utilizing AWS and Azure Cloud; Python programming; building CI & CD tools like GitLab or Terraform; and utilizing knowledge in life sciences domain to design and develop software applications. Benefits & conditions
The potential base pay range for this role is $143,175 - $209,200 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
