Job description

CGI is looking for a self-motivated Senior KDB Developer to join an established team supporting a core system for our large financial client, Develop and maintain KDB+ applications supporting tick architecture pipelines

Requirements

Looking for a Hands-on Senior Developer with domain experience at least in Electronic Trading, Fixed Income, Mortgage, Securities or Loans and development experience in application development in KDB, REST API, Spring and Oracle., Must have a minimum of 5+ years of IT experience

. Minimum 1+ year hands on KDB+ development experience

. KX Academy Level 3 certification (or equivalent)

. Familiarity with KDB+ tick architecture and real time data processing

. Experience in market data environments (ingestion, enrichment, distribution)

. Understanding of L3 support models and production environments

. Exposure to DevOps practices (automation, release, monitoring)

. Strong collaboration and communication skills in global teams

. Exposure to vendor data sources (e.g. LSEG, Bloomberg, ICE)

. Experience in high volume, low latency data systems

. Multi-disciplinary capability across Dev, QA, and DevOps

. Experience working in globally distributed teams, + Microservices

  • Oracle

  • Good clinical practices (GCP)

  • Apache Kafka

  • Database

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $156,700.00.
