Job description
The Senior System Administrator supports a large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution by delivering enterprise-level system administration, platform operations, infrastructure sustainment, and security-focused maintenance. This role ensures stable, secure, and compliant operation of the GRC environment across production and supporting ecosystems, enabling reliable workflows, risk management capabilities, reporting, and continuous modernization., * Provide full-lifecycle system administration for enterprise GRC platforms and supporting infrastructure, including installation, configuration, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Manage access control and enforce least-privilege principles across the GRC environment to support functional roles, workflows, and approval structures.
- Execute patch management, upgrades, and configuration management aligned with security baselines, release cycles, and compliance frameworks.
- Deliver advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for system, application, and integration-level issues within a complex enterprise environment.
- Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, including health checks, monitoring, service continuity, data integrity verification, and environment upkeep.
- Lead or collaborate on vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and remediation of audit findings to maintain a secure and compliant platform.
- Support infrastructure sustainment, including servers, virtualized environments, cloud resources, and supporting components essential to GRC platform functionality.
- Maintain detailed and continuous documentation, including SOPs, configuration standards, maintenance records, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Assist modernization efforts-such as enhancements, workflow optimization, and integration with enterprise services-aligned with GRC roadmap priorities.
Requirements

Minimum of SEVEN (7) years of enterprise systems administration experience, including hands-on management of complex technical environments. Minimum of THREE (3) years of troubleshooting and technical support experience.

Demonstrated proficiency with:
- System administration for large or complex environments
- Access control and identity enforcement
- Patching, updates, and configuration management
- Infrastructure operations and maintenance
- Vulnerability remediation and system hardening
- Experience supporting or integrating with enterprise software platforms (GRC, workflow automation, case management, or similar).
- Strong understanding of secure system operation principles and compliance-driven environments.
- Certifications: Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CASP+, GIAC, MCSE or EIGHT (8) or more years of directly relevant and applicable experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have:

Minimum of SIX (6) years managing large or complex enterprise systems at a senior level. Experience supporting or operating enterprise GRC solutions, risk & compliance platforms, or secure workflow-driven applications.

- Cloud-hosted and hybrid infrastructure
- Identity, access, and governance workflows
- Vulnerability management and secure configuration standards
- Enterprise operational frameworks, including ITIL/DevSecOps
