Job description
We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer to provide technical support for manufacturing IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user systems in a multi-shift production environment. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting infrastructure and business applications, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency., + Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Support physical and virtual server environments running Windows and Linux.

Maintain and support network equipment in a Cisco environment.

Assist with incident resolution, issue triage, and business continuity activities.

Collaborate with internal IT teams to prioritize improvements and resolve technical issues.

Support deployment and maintenance of manufacturing technology solutions and connected devices.

Maintain accurate technical documentation and support procedures.

Assist with workload management and assigned IT operational tasks.

Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment, including flexible hours and weekend support when required.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience with Windows Server (2016 or later) and/or Linux server administration.

Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches, including basic configuration, troubleshooting, and cable installation.

Willingness to learn Cisco Software-Defined Architecture (SDA).

Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and ADFS.

Experience with VMware vSphere.

Experience supporting Android and iOS devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

Experience with SharePoint.

Experience supporting Windows desktops, PCs, printers, and office automation technologies.

Experience with handheld scanners and imaging devices.

Manufacturing automation experience (such as control systems or PLCs) is preferred but not required.

PowerShell scripting experience is preferred but not required.

Strong technical troubleshooting and IT support skills.
