Job description

Our client is looking for a hands-on IT deployment technician to provide onsite, white-glove support helping employees install the Claude desktop app and configure it within Microsoft Edge, the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), and other tools., + Install and configure the Claude desktop application on employee laptops running Windows and macOS.

  • Set up and configure Claude integration within Microsoft Edge for each employee.

  • Configure Claude connections/integrations with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and other business applications.

  • Deliver in-person, at-desk setup sessions, walking employees of varying technical skill levels through installation and first use.

  • Troubleshoot install, authentication, and configuration issues on both Windows and Mac platforms.

  • Track rollout progress per employee/department and report completion status to IT Service Delivery leadership.

  • Document recurring issues and contribute to quick-reference setup guides for employees and the IT team.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT Service Delivery or security team.

  • Ensure all installs and configurations follow Lantern Care's IT security and compliance standards.

  • Create knowledgebase articles that cover the issues seen during the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications on both Windows and macOS.

  • Experience configuring browser extensions/integrations (Microsoft Edge and/or Chrome).

  • Strong desktop/end-user support experience, ideally including white-glove support. Comfortable working onsite, moving between desks, floors, and departments throughout the day.

  • Experience using a ticketing system to track support work (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).

  • Preferred: prior experience supporting the rollout of an AI assistant tool (Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot).

  • Preferred: familiarity administering or configuring Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)., All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
