Job description
- Build and maintain automated tests and SDET-style tooling.
- Develop, maintain, and improve tests for Nintendo's systems
- Perform deep troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for low-level, concurrent code.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve defects and improve reliability.
- Create practical, creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
- Support CI systems and automated regression detection.
Requirements
- 5+ years related experience.
- Solid understanding of software quality and test automation.
- Experience with concurrent programming and low-level systems and developing multithreaded software
- Strong bug-fixing and triage skills with knowledge of software testing methodologies and software quality assurance processes.
- Clear communication and cross-team collaboration with the ability to solve hard problems creatively.
- Proficient with fundamental computer science data structures and algorithms in C & Modern C++
- Building and running software in Windows, Linux and embedded systems
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with compilers and optimization pipelines and a background in debugger internals.
- Knowledge of GPU/graphics engineering (Vulkan, DirectX or OpenGL).
- Ensure quality of modern C++ systems (C++20/23/26) across compilers, debuggers, graphics, and emulation and virtualization.
