Job description
Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to directly support the Chief Engineer and Agile Coach across technical execution, multi-cloud operations, and DevSecOps innovation for future work on the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Next (C1N) ACSS contract. In this role, as a member of a Scaled Agile software development organization, you will contribute to the technical execution of a program that integrates proven, globally deployed technologies with modern cloud-native capabilities. You will work alongside cross-functional teams and technical leaders to deliver predictable outcomes in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of prior experience.\n
- SAFe 6 Experience/ Knowledge of AI-Native SAFe.\n
- SAFe 6 Leading SAFe certification.\n
- SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification.\n
- SAFe 6 DevOps certification.\n
- Significant knowledge of DevSecOps methodology, security, and cloud environments.\n
- Understanding of sound software development principles and practices. Knowledge and experience with DevSecOps principles are a must.\n
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.\n
- Experience working as a Team Coach, Scrum Master within the SAFe Framework.\n
- Experience with Kanban/Continuous Flow.\n
- Understanding of Extreme Programming principles.\n
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.\n
- Active Secret Clearance.\n
- US citizenship required.\n, * Knowledge of or experience with AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Codex etc.).\n
- Knowledge of or experience with microservices and cloud-based environments.\n
- Knowledge of or experience with Terraform / Ansible.\n
- Knowledge of or experience with Cloud Certifications.\n

- Lead the team in executing Continuous Flow/ Kanban or planned sprint activities.\n
- Facilitate and lead all team ceremonies, including Refinements/Sprint Planning, Daily Boardwalks/Standups, Retrospectives, and Reviews/Demos, using relevant metrics and data to drive continuous improvement.\n
- Actively remove impediments by resolving blocking issues related to feature development, build and dependency challenges, operational support conflicts, and process.\n
- Provide timely status, risk, and dependency reporting to management, including sprint execution, team availability, and issues impacting delivery.\n
- Help teams design, develop, document, configure, test, and debug applications and frameworks across the full software development life cycle, serving as a key contributor to system enhancements and new features.\n
- Help the Agile Coach teach and execute hybrid SAFe 6 and Extreme Programming framework across the program.\n
- Help team use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.\n
- Help team to adopt DevSecOps concepts and tooling.\n
- Collaborate with and mentor junior team members to meet commitments and project milestones.\n
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional internal teams, stakeholders, and, when necessary, external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery.\n
- Participate in and lead teams through PI Planning events.\n
