Job description
- Metadata Standardization: Support the definition of a unified metadata schema for product verification data
- Scalable Data Modeling: Help develop a scalable data model to enable discoverable and reusable verification data
- Modular Data Pipelines: Contribute to modular data pipeline concepts, from source reading to enrichment and export
- Requirements Translation: Translate requirements from design, concept engineering, pre-silicon, and post-silicon teams into robust data management solutions
- Interface & Stakeholder Management: Act as an interface between Smart Power product development teams and internal suppliers such as IT, DES, and data architecture functions
- Strategic Alignment: Represent Smart Power requirements and ensure alignment with broader initiatives such as DM4SP and DigiPower
Joining the Junior Talent Program will give you the big picture of Infineon: Our Junior Talents are prepared for taking on complex target functions by means of tailor-made job rotations, regular feedback loops, trainings, as well as joint networking. Over the course of 24 months, you have at least three different assignments. By working in different departments, you can get an idea of what suits you best. From the beginning, you'll have a chance to roll up your sleeves and take on challenging tasks. Besides that, you have the opportunity to build strong relationships across sites, functions and departments, and to meet the JTP community face to face and at virtual conferences.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Degree or ongoing studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field
- Data Architecture Interest: Strong interest in data architecture, data management, and data modeling
- AI/ML Affinity: Affinity for AI and machine learning, ideally supported by study projects, internships or thesis work
- Data Fundamentals: Basic understanding of structured and unstructured data, metadata, data pipelines and data quality concepts
- Programming & Query Skills: First experience with Python, SQL, or comparable technologies for data processing and analysis
- Analytical Translation Skills: Ability to understand technical data sources and translate domain requirements into structured concepts
- Experience: Exposure to semiconductor development, measurement environments, simulation workflows, or verification data. Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and reproducibility principles
- Language Skills: Excellent English skills

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F-G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
