Job description
Join a dynamic IT environment and help ensure reliable and efficient IT services across the organization. In this hands-on role, you support end-users, maintain local infrastructure, and contribute to continuous improvements in IT operations. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you resolve technical issues and help keep systems and networks stable. At the same time, you support the local implementation of broader IT initiatives and help strengthen the overall IT landscape.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Deliver 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software issues, ensuring fast and reliable solutions for end-users.
- Analyze incidents, manage tickets (e.g., ServiceNow), and maintain clear communication with users throughout the resolution process.
- Handle installation, configuration, and upgrades of workstations, software, and peripherals in line with company standards.
- Identify and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, VPN), collaborating with specialized teams when needed.
- Oversee local IT asset inventory and support the lifecycle management of hardware and software.
- Contribute to the rollout of centrally driven IT projects and create practical documentation, user guides, and improvement suggestions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Several years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
- Fluent German and solid English skills for daily communication in an international environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems and structured IT service processes.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset combined with strong collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.

Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 54.439,42 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
