Job description

Impact: As a Staff SAP Engineer, you will frame complex integration challenges across SAP and our broader corporate tech ecosystem, drive architectural decisions, set quality standards, and become the main technical point of contact for Finance. You'll be a trusted advisor to the business and an active challenger to our external integrators., * Think big picture: Frame complex SAP integration challenges, propose clear solutions, and drive the roadmap based on Finance priorities - without needing constant guidance

  • Own the relationship with Finance: Become the main technical point of contact for Accounting and Finance teams. Translate business needs into architecture and keep stakeholders confident in the roadmap
  • Challenge and lead integrators: Work with external integrators (PwC, MeltOne, MSG) with a critical eye. Know when to push back, redesign, or bring work in-house
  • Design and evolve integrations: Build REST/OData APIs, middleware connectors, and compliance guardrails across SAP, Workday, ADP, Google Workspace, and Slack
  • Embrace AI in your daily work: Use Claude and other tools to design faster, code cleaner, and solve problems creatively. Help the team adopt modern AI-driven engineering practices

Our Corporate Automation team is divided into 3 streams: SAP landscape (your role), Workday middleware, and agentic AI. You will join a tight-knit team of 5 talented engineers passionate about solving complex integration problems at fintech scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on SAP experience (ideally S/4HANA Public Cloud, ABAP, RAP/CDS) and proven ability to design and build integrations
  • Staff mindset: You know what to deliver, not just how. You operate with high autonomy, anticipate problems before they arise, and drive your own priorities
  • Strong stakeholder skills: You communicate complex technical decisions clearly to non-technical Finance teams and know when to push back on integrators
  • AI-driven engineer: You actively experiment with AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Joule), challenge outputs, and help teams adopt modern practices. Skepticism about AI in 2026 is a red flag
  • Collaborative leader: You share knowledge openly, help teammates grow, and thrive with autonomy
