Job description
- Lead and manage software projects in the WES domain from initiation to delivery
- Act as a key interface between customers, internal stakeholders, and development teams
- Combine project management with consulting activities by understanding customer needs and translating them into system solutions
- Ensure project success in terms of quality, timeline, and customer satisfaction
- Confidently review and implement changes to key project documentation, including:
- Functional Specifications
- IT Specifications
- Interface Specifications
- Identify optimization potential and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support the development of standards, best practices, and scalable solutions within Kardex
Working Model & Travel
- Approx. 10% travel within Europe (project-related)
- close to a German Kardex office
Requirements
- Experience in IT or software project management (experience level flexible - we value potential and mindset)
- Background in industrial, automation, or logistics environments is a plus
- Exposure to warehouse systems such as WES, WCS, or WMS is an advantage
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
- Understanding of software development processes and system integration concepts, * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- High level of motivation and willingness to learn and grow
- Structured, solution-oriented, and hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills with fluency in German and English
