Job description

  • Developing and evolving our enterprise architecture vision with a strong focus on internal IT and ERP systems like SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics and other core business process systems including Lead to Order, Order to Cash incl. Payments and Subscription Management.
  • Helping teams to develop towards the architecture vision by maintaining a balancing portfolio of initiatives that enable short term gains and long term strategic wins. As part of this you define architectural principles, standards and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and product leaders across the organization to define and prioritize architecture topics across product roadmaps. You are aware of the full SDLC and understand how to measure success of architecture design against implementation.
  • You're thinking how to ensure architecture is serving the business and teams, you understand how to make architecture impactful. To this end you are leading conversations with various audiences, including technical, business, and executive level.
  • Coaching tech leads/engineers across teams and the organization in architecture best practices, support with solution design and technology decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Enterprise IT architecture in a large-scale enterprise environment across a large number of core business process systems (ERP).
  • Strong knowledge of various technologies and platforms (e.g., cloud computing, on-big data, AI, IoT).
  • You understand requirements between different architectures and can translate this into technical designs. Your strong analytical mindset allows you to assess trade-offs between different approaches to drive impactful architecture decisions.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
  • You bring a clear, audience-sensitive style to your verbal and written communication in German and English. Note that you are interactive with senior stakeholders across the company that communicate in German, so a C1 level is required.
