Data Scientist

• You design challenging data science projects in an interdisciplinary team
• You routinely recognize the needs of your customers and develop effective, data-driven solutions
• From the data records of your customers you extract the data that is decisive for the task
• You create innovative solutions using modern methods from the fields of statistics, machine learning, mathematical optimization and visual analytics
• You successfully communicate your results to your customer and then accompany the comprehensive implementation of your idea together with the data engineering team.

• University degree in (business) informatics, business administration, statistics, mathematics or a comparable course of studies with a strong quantitative focus
• First professional experience in the field of Business Analytics and Data Science
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, strong understanding of data modeling and analysis and basic knowledge of software development
• Basic project management skills and knowledge (classical and agile methods)
• Mastery of a common analytics toolbox, in particular the programming languages R or Python (and relevant libraries), visualization solutions (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI) as well as databases and Big Data technologies
• Pleasure in project-related work, high customer orientation combined with strong communication skills in business fluent German and English
