Shape the IT integration of the global business portfolio of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities and make a direct contribution to our continued international growth.
In this role, you will take ownership of complex IT M&A projects at the intersection of business, technology, and transformation - offering high visibility, significant impact, and ample scope to shape the success of our transactions.
IT Project Manager (f/m/d) Mergers & Acquisitions
- You manage IT M&A projects end-to-end, from due diligence through Day 1 readiness to successful post-merger integration.
- You assess IT landscapes, identify opportunities and risks, and derive robust integration strategies and roadmaps.
- You drive the technical integration of infrastructures, networks, systems, and applications in an efficient and outcome-oriented manner.
- On a project basis, you build and lead high-performing teams, guiding them to successful delivery.
- You ensure that IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements are consistently met across all project phases.
- You act as the central interface to business functions, external partners, and senior management, ensuring aligned and seamless processes.
- You continuously develop standards, methodologies, and best practices for IT M&A, creating sustainable value beyond individual transactions.
Requirements
- Solid experience in IT project management, particularly in M&A, due diligence, or transformation environments.
- Foundational knowledge in IT infrastructure; additional hands-on experience in frontend, backend, and modern workplace services is a plus.
- Expertise in enterprise applications and integration concepts is advantageous.
- Strong ability to maintain oversight in dynamic environments and to prioritize pragmatically in order to drive results.
- Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to align diverse interests.
- Strong German (min. C1) and flluent English skills (min. B2) to manage international projects, and willingness to travel approx. 10%.
- Ideally, a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
