Job description

  • Support the day-to-day operation of hybrid compute and EUC platforms.

  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Help maintain and update golden images and standardized VM templates.

  • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code efforts using Terraform and Packer under guidance.

  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

  • Follow automation-first and self-service principles, helping reduce manual work where possible.

  • Document processes, update runbooks, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Greenfield project - build and shape the platform from day one.

  • Join a fast-growing international organisation.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of on-prem virtualization (Hyper-V / Azure Local; VMware exposure is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix, or a strong willingness to learn them.
  • Knowledge of structuring work in tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • An interest in automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn security/governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR).
  • Ability to follow established designs and standards, with a mindset focused on consistency and simplification.
  • Curiosity, reliability, and a desire to grow into more advanced platform responsibilities
