Job description

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you play a key role in designing, building and maintaining a large and complex Mendix landscape on top of our new SAP S/4HANA platform. You develop applications that are used daily by more than 50,000 colleagues and are critical to our store operations.

You drive quality, stability and scalability. You make technical decisions, coach junior developers, safeguard Mendix architecture and integrate our applications with SAP, other Mendix apps and AWS.

You build it, you run it and you own it, end to end.

Together, we are Jumbo: this is where you'll work You work within the Store Employee Experience team, where Mendix plays a key role in supporting store processes. You collaborate closely with testers, UX/UI designers, business analysts and Mendix developers from multiple teams.

As a senior, you take the lead in:

  • Designing technical solutions and Mendix architecture
  • Further developing standards and best practices
  • Coaching colleagues and raising overall team quality
  • Integrating with SAP, AWS and other systems
  • Visiting stores to validate functionality and gather feedback

You are given plenty of room to innovate, take initiative and future-proof the Mendix landscape. Profile

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Mendix (Advanced or Expert certification is a plus)
  • Proven ability to design scalable Mendix architectures
  • Experience with integrations (SAP, APIs, Mendix apps, AWS)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders
  • Full ownership mentality, including independently participating in the stand-by rotation
  • Experience coaching others and actively contributing to team maturity
  • The ability to identify improvement opportunities and turn them into action
