Job description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Administrator - Desk Side Services / Tools & Automation Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise endpoint management, Windows imaging, and modern device management. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Microsoft Intune, Windows OS deployment, and Autopilot. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise imaging solutions while ensuring seamless device provisioning, upgrades, and application deployment across large-scale environments., * Design, implement, and maintain enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
- Manage and optimize Windows operating system deployment (OSD) processes across enterprise environments.
- Build, modify, and maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) Task Sequences for new Windows versions and enterprise deployment requirements.
- Perform enterprise-wide Windows Client upgrades, including in-place upgrades and feature updates using SCCM Task Sequences.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot PXE-based imaging environments, ensuring reliable deployment workflows.
- Manage and optimize Nomad Cache to improve content distribution efficiency while minimizing network bandwidth utilization.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment activities, customize imaging processes, and streamline endpoint management operations.
- Deploy, package, and manage Win32 applications through Microsoft Intune.
- Configure and support Windows Autopilot provisioning and modern device enrollment.
- Troubleshoot endpoint deployment, imaging, and upgrade issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work directly with end users during operating system upgrades and device deployments, providing technical guidance and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to improve endpoint management processes and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint management and Windows deployment.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
- Practical expertise with Nomad Cache, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.
- Extensive experience with PXE-based imaging and troubleshooting PXE boot environments.
- Strong knowledge of Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Task Sequence creation and management.
- Proven experience performing enterprise Windows Client upgrades using SCCM Task Sequences.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, deployment customization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying and managing Win32 applications using Microsoft Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning and deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within Windows endpoint environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide technical support directly to end users.
- Experience working in large enterprise IT environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications related to Endpoint Management, Intune, or Windows Administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with endpoint security, compliance policies, and device lifecycle management.
- Experience with enterprise software packaging and application deployment.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise service management practices.
