Senior Cisco SDA Engineer

• Design, deploy, and support Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Intent-Based Networking (IBN) solutions across enterprise environments
• Build and manage multi-site SDA fabric deployments, including Fabric Domains, Control Plane Nodes, Border Nodes, and Edge Nodes
• Lead greenfield implementations and migration projects from traditional campus networks to Cisco SDA Fabric
• Configure and integrate Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for secure authentication, authorization, endpoint profiling, TrustSec, and policy-based access control
• Provide Level 3 support for complex networking issues involving LISP, VXLAN, multicast, endpoint mobility, and SDA fabric services
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement long-term solutions to improve network reliability
• Develop and implement network automation solutions using Cisco DNA Center (Catalyst Center), Python, REST APIs, and automation tools
• Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), migration plans, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with network architects, security teams, infrastructure engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver scalable networking solutions
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical expertise and promoting networking best practices, * Design and deliver secure, scalable, and highly available Cisco SDA network solutions
• Lead enterprise network transformation and migration initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking challenges across wired, wireless, and SDA environments
• Automate network provisioning, software upgrades, and operational workflows
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
• Mentor technical teams and drive networking best practices across the organization
• Deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring network performance, security, and business continuity

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking with strong expertise in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center (Catalyst Center) for network management, automation, and orchestration
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, VXLAN, LISP, and EVPN
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches and Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers
• Strong expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including Policy Sets, TACACS+, RADIUS, TrustSec, Scalable Group Tags (SGTs), and endpoint profiling
• Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, and Cisco DNA Center APIs
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, wireless technologies, network security, and software-defined networking concepts
• Experience creating technical documentation, architecture designs, migration strategies, and operational procedures
• Active CCNP Enterprise certification is required; additional Cisco certifications are an advantage
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
