For one of our clients, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who will play an important role in improving the security of both internal systems and product-related software. In this role, you will work on developing, implementing and maintaining secure software solutions. You will help identify vulnerabilities, reduce risks and strengthen the overall cyber security approach of the organization.
What will you be doing?
As Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for building and improving secure software solutions that help prevent cyber threats. You will work on both preventive and corrective actions and have a key role in keeping systems and software secure.
Your work will include:
- Developing secure software by applying security principles from the start
- Implementing security solutions and integrating new tools and technologies to protect systems and data
- Identifying vulnerabilities and performing technical risk assessments
- Responding to security incidents quickly and effectively to minimize impact
- Staying up to date with the latest cyber security trends, threats and best practices
- Reporting on security activities, progress and results to internal stakeholders
Requirements
Are you an expert in cyber security and do you want to help protect systems and data against the latest digital threats?, We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in cyber security and software engineering, who enjoys working in a dynamic and regulated environment.
You bring:
- Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication and other security techniques
- Solid experience with Managed Detection and Response
- Experience with security-related tools such as static and dynamic code analysis tools, for example SonarQube and Snyk, as well as penetration testing frameworks
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ or C#
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Yocto
- Experience with secure coding practices and security frameworks such as OWASP, SANS and NIST
- Familiar with DevSecOps-principles and tools such as Azure Devops, Docker, en Kubernetes
It would be a plus if you also have:
- Certifications such as CEH or OSCP
- Experience in medical software development, and with Agile scrum
