Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices using modern Python technologies
  • Build and support RESTful APIs for data integration and application functionality
  • Develop robust backend services using Python frameworks such as Django and FastAPI
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable automated deployments
  • Handle structured and unstructured data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows
  • Optimize database performance through efficient SQL query design and tuning
  • Work with both relational and non-relational databases to support enterprise applications
  • Manage source code using Git and follow branching and release management best practices
  • Write unit tests and support automated testing initiatives to ensure software quality
  • Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards are met
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies, * Exposure to modern Azure, Kubernetes, and DevOps technologies

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Strong hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks
  • Experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of containerized deployments and Kubernetes environments
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementation
  • Experience handling structured and unstructured data processing workflows
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in Git source control and branching strategies
  • Experience with automated testing, unit testing, and continuous integration practices
  • Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
