Job description

  • We want you to travel occasionally to customer sites across the UK.
  • We need you to own customer cases end-to-end, including triaging tickets, setting expectations, and resolving issues within SLA.
  • We want you to troubleshoot memory errors, downtime, and application issues using Linux CLI and PostgreSQL.
  • We need you to replicate and document bugs clearly for our development teams.
  • We want you to act as a trusted contact via phone, email, and our service desk.
  • We need you to contribute to our knowledge base to support continuous team improvement.

Requirements

  • We require a valid UK driving licence.

Benefits & conditions

We are a growing and innovative software business based in Shoreham-by-Sea, and we are looking to add a 2nd Line Application Support Specialist to our Client Services team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £25,000. The role is office-based initially, moving to hybrid working after a successful 3-month probation period. Working hours are Monday to Friday on an 8-hour rotating shift pattern between 9am and 10pm. We offer 25 days holiday plus an extra day off on your birthday, a company pension, training and development opportunities, volunteering days, and a company car if you are eligible for insurance. If you are not eligible for the company insurance, you will need access to your own vehicle. Occasional UK travel is involved.
