Job description

Liverpool is a city built on creativity, commerce and innovation, and at Fengxun Digital Solutions Ltd, we bring that same energy to the way we deliver digital projects. We support organisations with software implementation, digital transformation and technology-led business solutions.

We are looking for a Digital Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful delivery. You will coordinate internal teams, clients and external suppliers while ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards remain under control.

You will not simply update project plans or schedule meetings. You will help turn business requirements into clear actions, remove delivery obstacles and ensure that every stakeholder understands what needs to happen next.

Why Work With Us?

The Environment:

Our Liverpool office provides a professional and collaborative working environment with convenient access to the city centre and local transport links. We value open communication, practical problem-solving and a supportive team culture.

Meaningful Projects:

You will work on digital projects that improve business processes, customer experiences and operational performance. Your contribution will have a visible impact on both our clients and internal teams.

Collaborative Teams:

You will work closely with software developers, business analysts, designers, customer support teams and senior stakeholders. We encourage project managers to contribute ideas rather than simply follow instructions.

Professional Growth:

You will have opportunities to strengthen your knowledge of project delivery, stakeholder management, software implementation and digital transformation. Relevant training and professional development may be supported based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Develop clear project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, risks and expected outcomes. Ensure that all participants understand their responsibilities and deadlines.

End-to-End Delivery:

Manage digital projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering through implementation, testing, launch and post-project review.

Team Coordination:

Coordinate developers, designers, analysts, support staff and external partners. Ensure that tasks are properly assigned, tracked and completed according to agreed priorities.

Risk and Issue Management:

Identify potential risks, delays and dependencies before they affect delivery. Create practical mitigation plans and escalate serious concerns when required.

Stakeholder Management:

Provide clear and regular updates to clients, internal managers and project teams. Manage expectations professionally and ensure that decisions are properly documented.

Budget and Resource Control:

Track project expenditure, resource allocation and supplier costs. Support the delivery of projects within agreed financial limits.

Quality Assurance:

Work with delivery teams to ensure that project outputs meet documented requirements, quality standards and client expectations before release.

Project Documentation:

Maintain accurate project records, including plans, meeting notes, action logs, change requests, risk registers and completion reports.

Process Improvement:

Review completed projects and recommend improvements to project management methods, communication practices and delivery workflows.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in digital project management, technology implementation, software delivery or a similar project-based environment.

Project Knowledge:

A practical understanding of project planning, requirements gathering, risk management, resource coordination and stakeholder communication.

Delivery Methods:

Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methods. Formal certification is helpful but not essential.

Technical Awareness:

You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be comfortable discussing websites, business systems, integrations, testing and software implementation with technical teams.

Tooling:

Experience using project management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project or similar tools.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and spoken English is required. You should be confident leading meetings, preparing reports and explaining project issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Organisation:

You can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and keep projects moving even when requirements or deadlines change.

Mindset:

You are calm, accountable and solution-focused. You know when to challenge unrealistic expectations, when to escalate a problem and when to adjust the delivery plan to protect the project outcome.
