- GCP, We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Identity Management Services team in the automotive industry. This is a 7-month contract role, based onsite in Basildon four days per week, inside IR35, with a daily rate of £593.48. We are looking for someone who can help us strengthen our identity infrastructure and contribute to a high-performing, technically excellent backend engineering team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Java frameworks and web development
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and version control
- Experience in security and identity management
- Experience with monitoring and logging
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with server-side technologies
- Leadership experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- OAuth experience would be very beneficial
- Preferred: knowledge of networking, including subnets, firewalls, load balancing, and VPN configurations
- Preferred: strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP
