• GCP, We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Identity Management Services team in the automotive industry. This is a 7-month contract role, based onsite in Basildon four days per week, inside IR35, with a daily rate of £593.48. We are looking for someone who can help us strengthen our identity infrastructure and contribute to a high-performing, technically excellent backend engineering team.

• Proficiency in Java
• Experience with Java frameworks and web development
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and version control
• Experience in security and identity management
• Experience with monitoring and logging
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with server-side technologies
• Leadership experience
• Experience working in Agile environments
• OAuth experience would be very beneficial
• Preferred: knowledge of networking, including subnets, firewalls, load balancing, and VPN configurations
• Preferred: strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP
