Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Contractor to support the delivery of complex, secure engineering programmes within a highly regulated defence environment. This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, stakeholders and customers to develop, manage and verify system requirements, support integration activities and ensure the successful delivery of secure, mission-critical systems., * Support system verification and validation activities across the engineering life

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, requirements management and information assurance, with experience operating within UK defence or similarly security-conscious environments., * Demonstrable expence designing and supporting secure systems within UK MoD or defence environments.

  • Strong understanding of Information Assurance principles and secure system design.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering and requirements management on complex engineering programmes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including requirements validation and optimisation.
  • Experience supporting verification, validation, integration and qualification activities.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels to resolve technical challenges

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience of electronic and electrical systems, preferably within defence, aerospace or other safety-critical sectors.
  • Experience planning, facilitating and conducting system and subsystem integration, testing and qualification activities.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), reliability engineering and technical publication development.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering standards, frameworks and best practices.
