Software Engineer Manchester + Hybrid Work from Home Up to £60,000 + Benefits About the Role Our client, an innovative industrial automation company, is looking for a Software Engineer with a strong focus on C++, Qt, and Linux to join their software development team. In this role, you will develop operating system components and service tools for Linux-based industrial systems, implement applications in C++ with Qt, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline while applying agile methodologies. What You'll Be Doing Developing, maintaining, and optimising operating system components, drivers, and service tools for industrial systems on Linux (x86/ARM) Implementing and extending applications using C++ with Qt Supporting and improving the build and CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins or Azure DevOps) Managing regular security and feature updates Contributing to virtualisation and containerisation initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes Collaborating with interdisciplinary, international teams
Requirements
