  • Office 365, We are a well-established MSP organisation offering a senior infrastructure support role based in Birmingham with hybrid working. This is a key technical position within our growing team, focused on advanced infrastructure support, solution delivery, pre-sales input and continual improvement. We work across a diverse range of technologies and provide the opportunity to play an important role in technical leadership, automation and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior 3rd/4th line infrastructure support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise infrastructure technologies.
  • Healthy knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and VMware.
  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Experience with Citrix.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Apache, NGINX and/or IIS.
  • Knowledge of DNS, networking and load balancing.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with SonicWall or similar firewall technologies.
  • Experience using PowerShell for administration and automation.
  • Exposure to AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • MSP background is desirable.
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution design and technical scoping is desirable.
  • Experience with RFP/RFT responses and quotation design is desirable.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, is desirable.
  • Experience with AI-driven service improvements using tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Power Automate is desirable.
  • Relevant Microsoft, VMware, Citrix or SonicWall certifications are desirable.
