Job description

  • Maintain and support internal and external network infrastructure and services
  • Manage, operate, and support network systems and equipment
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and system-generated events
  • Ensure network stability, performance, and excellent customer experience
  • Participate in our out-of-hours rota approximately one in every four weeks

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a network-focused IT service role
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or JNCIA
  • Strong experience configuring and supporting routers and switches
  • Demonstrated experience managing Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies
  • Experience with security products, especially Cisco ASA and Firepower
  • Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as LibreNMS, FortiManager, and Nagios
  • Knowledge of network security, AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, and 802.1X
  • Good understanding of wireless systems such as Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Cisco
  • Experience using ITSM tools for ticketing, time logging, and remote support
  • Strong documentation skills, including network diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and work instructions
