Education Data & MIS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled School Analyst to support educational institutions through comprehensive data analysis and strategic insights. The successful candidate will utilise advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex datasets, optimise processes, and inform decision-making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to educational excellence by transforming data into actionable intelligence, ensuring data integrity, and supporting project management initiatives within a collaborative environment., * Analyse large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to school performance and operations.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations employing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Design and optimise databases with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval aligned with organisational needs.
• Support project management activities throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including planning, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Conduct business analysis to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform database design tasks and develop VBA scripts or Bash (Unix shell) scripts for automation of routine processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data analysis workflows and improve overall data quality.
• Document processes and workflows clearly for ongoing maintenance and future projects using Visio or similar tools.

• Proven experience in business analysis with a strong understanding of database design principles.
• Demonstrable expertise in data analysis skills using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
• Experience managing projects within the SDLC framework is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with enterprise database systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
• Previous experience working in an educational or organisational environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
