Lead Cloud Platform Engineer

• We will expect you to lead cloud engineering and delivery across our Azure platform.
• We will expect you to provide architectural design input and technical direction.
• We will expect you to design, build, automate, and continuously improve Azure cloud platform services.

• Terraform, We are a Financial Services client seeking a standalone Lead Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to take ownership of our enterprise Azure platform. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical delivery, architectural input, mentoring, and platform enablement in a regulated FSA environment. The position is fully home based and open to candidates anywhere in the UK. We offer a salary of £90,000 to £100,000, plus bonus and benefits, and we are looking to interview soon.

• We require proven experience in a Lead Azure Cloud role with enterprise-scale PaaS platform leadership.
• We require expert knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• We require strong DevOps experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• We require experience delivering cloud engineering in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services.
• We require experience architecting Azure landing zones and Terraform-based IaC frameworks.
• We require experience with Azure platform automation, networking, security controls, monitoring, resilience, and operational supportability.
• We require the ability to work at a senior level with multiple stakeholders.
• We require experience mentoring and coaching engineers when needed.
• We require candidates to have the core technical skills to add value and deliver immediately.
