Job description
· Deliver internal platforms and self-service capabilities that improve developer experience and reduce friction.
· Implement observability stacks-metrics, logs, traces, and proactive alerting for reliability.
· Champion security and compliance across infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
· Architect secure, scalable networking solutions for hybrid and cloud environments.
· Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and tooling.
· Lead and mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and influence technical direction.
· Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and plan for capacity at scale.
· Deep expertise in CI/CD, automation, and pipeline architecture.
· Mastery of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and config management (e.g., Ansible, Chef)., * Participation in our industry leading share options scheme

Requirements
· Strong AWS architecture skills and cost optimisation strategies
· Advanced containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
· Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
· Security-first mindset with hands-on experience in access control, encryption, and incident response.
· Solid networking knowledge - protocols, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking.
· Experience integrating and optimizing software delivery ecosystems (Git, Artifactory, Jenkins) as part of a cohesive platform strategy.
· Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
· Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
· A knack for solving hard problems and making systems better. · You'll help shape the future of our infrastructure and the team itself.
