Job description
- We develop cloud infrastructure and platforms, including IaaS and PaaS within our managed cloud tenants.
- We implement, configure and maintain managed cloud solutions.
- We design and deploy cloud infrastructure, including compute and platform services.
- We oversee cloud performance tuning, policy and management.
- We develop and maintain documentation for cloud processes and procedures.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues.
- We develop and maintain security protocols for cloud solutions.
- We plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- We provide IT specialist advice to business users and IT peers within our specialist area.
- We may manage technical staff and supervise junior ICT specialists within our technical area.

Requirements
- We are looking for someone qualified to degree level standard, or able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
- We need experience designing, implementing and technically leading in some cloud infrastructure and platform areas.
- You should have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- You must understand the strategic and operational implications of effective IT for our organisation.
