Job description

  • We transform complex regulatory and entity data into actionable insights and supervisory tools.
  • We support a live testing programme for a new regulatory reporting regime.
  • We lead systems acceptance, test firm feasibility, and improve data usability for supervisors.
  • We analyse risk indicators, alerts, and insights to support risk-based supervision and decision-making.
  • We synthesise datasets including authorisations, holdings, transactions, and regulatory reporting into cross-firm views.
  • We identify market trends, anomalies, concentrations, and emerging risks to support reviews and investigations.
  • We implement validation controls, verify Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs), and enrich datasets with external sources such as GLEIF, Companies House, and market proxies.
  • We build automated Tableau dashboards and management information to reduce manual tracking.
  • We facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and translate supervisory challenges into analytical blueprints, alignment plans, and governance strategies.
  • We develop continuous monitoring tools, predictive early-warning indicators, and automated reporting frameworks.

  • Embedded, We are offering a hybrid Senior Data Analyst role based in London, working 3 days a week in the office on a permanent basis. The role is focused on improving supervisory effectiveness by turning regulatory data into practical intelligence for Supervision teams. The position offers a salary of £75,000 to £85,000 plus a 10% bonus.

Requirements

  • We need a candidate with active Security Clearance (SC) based in London.
  • We need strong SQL skills and experience analysing large-scale, complex, multi-source datasets.
  • We need experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and Athena.
  • We need experience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • We need experience in data quality assessment, validation, and improvement.
  • We need strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences.
  • We need regulatory, financial services, or financial data reporting regime experience.
