Job description
- We will have you own day-to-day IT service delivery by managing, triaging, and resolving user support tickets in Jira Service Management within agreed SLAs.
- We will have you manage the full joiner, mover, and leaver lifecycle across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including account provisioning, licensing, group and access assignment, and secure offboarding.
- We will have you administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune endpoint management.
- We will have you administer Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, including user and security role management, licence assignment, environment administration, and first-line support for CRM users.
- We will have you administer Microsoft Entra ID, including identity management, conditional access, application registrations, and identity governance and security.
- We will have you act as the day-to-day point of contact for our co-managed service supplier, including raising, tracking, and managing supplier tickets for Azure infrastructure and SOC/MDR security monitoring.
- We will have you manage and configure Azure resources such as virtual machines, SQL Server and databases, and networking, working with our co-managed service arrangement.
- We will have you ensure endpoint and server patching and update compliance across the estate and remediate gaps identified by Defender and Intune.
- We will have you manage our Fortinet firewall estate, including configuration, firmware updates, rule and policy changes, VPN and IPS management, and regular rule-base reviews.
- We will have you troubleshoot network issues, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN services.
- We will have you provide hands-on IT support to business users on Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, including desk setup, meeting room AV, printers, and other office IT equipment.
- We will have you own IT asset management, including maintaining an accurate asset register, conducting physical hardware audits, and managing the procurement, allocation, and disposal of devices.
- We will have you assist with reviewing IT support policies and procedures and support ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and PCI-DSS audit activities.
- We will have you help with other IT administration tasks when required and keep your skills and knowledge updated to industry standards.

Requirements
- We ideally want someone with an IT undergraduate or Masters degree and practical IT system administration experience.
- We need demonstrable experience across Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration, Windows desktop and server operating systems, network administration, cloud services (Azure), and firewall and IPS management.
- We prefer experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse administration.
- We need experience running joiner and leaver processes and IT service desk operations using Jira Service Management or similar ITSM tools.
- We need demonstrable experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers, including co-managed Azure and SOC/MDR arrangements.
- We need a solid understanding of patch management, endpoint security, and asset management practices.
- Relevant certifications, or a willingness to undergo training and certification, is required.
- We need someone who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to cover where needed.
- We need good verbal and written communication skills.
- We need good teamworking skills and the ability to teach and mentor junior staff.
- We need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate appropriately.
- We require a willingness to undergo a DBS check to allow access to our PCI compliance estate.
- We can only accept applications from candidates who can prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
- We require the ability to commute to or relocate to Finchley N3 before starting work.
