Senior Java Full Stack Developer (FICC) - Hybrid London - Outside IR35 - 3-6 months

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications within a Front Office and Trading environment.
• Contribute across multiple workstreams, delivering scalable and resilient solutions for Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) business areas.
• Build and enhance full stack applications using modern Java technologies and Front End frameworks.
• Work closely with traders, quants, business analysts, and product owners to deliver business-critical functionality.
• Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and promote engineering best practices across development teams.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in an agile delivery environment.

Java Full Stack Development:

• Extensive commercial experience as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer.
• Strong Back End development experience with Java (Java 11+ preferred).
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong Front End development skills with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
• Experience working with SQL databases and data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, containerisation, and CI/CD tooling.

Financial Services & FICC:

• Proven experience working within Investment Banking or Capital Markets environments.
• Strong understanding of FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) products and trading workflows.
• Experience delivering technology solutions supporting trading, risk, pricing, market data, or post-trade functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Front Office stakeholders and business users.
