SAP Automation Test Lead

• We lead end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution for SAP Finance (FI), WBS, and Project Systems (PS) modules.
• We design and implement Selenium-based automation frameworks for SAP and integrated applications.
• We drive an automation-first approach across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• We develop and maintain reusable automation scripts using Java, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• We collaborate with SAP functional teams to validate Finance processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Project Costing.
• We manage test environments, test data, and defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• We lead and mentor automation testers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and promoting testing best practices.
• We coordinate integration testing across SAP and interfacing systems, APIs, and middleware.
• We monitor automation coverage, quality metrics, and risks, and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.
• We support CI/CD integration and continuously improve automation processes and frameworks.

• Cloud, We are hiring an experienced SAP Automation Test Lead to join a major transformation programme within a large enterprise organisation. This is a 6-month contract based in Warwick, with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days onsite, and a day rate of £380 per day inside IR35. You will help deliver high-quality SAP Finance and Project Systems solutions in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment, leading automation initiatives, mentoring test engineers, and working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

• We need strong experience leading SAP automation testing projects.
• We need proven expertise in SAP FI and Project Systems (PS), including WBS processes.
• We need hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
• We need strong Java programming skills with TestNG and/or Cucumber.
• We need experience testing SAP integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• We need familiarity with JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• We need experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• We need excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
