Job description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing resilient systems, streamlining deployment processes, and improving platform reliability. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions that support business growth and innovation., * Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

  • Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery speed and quality.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Manage and support containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor system performance, application availability, and infrastructure health.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to support proactive incident management.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
  • Apply security best practices across cloud platforms, systems, and deployment pipelines.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and cost optimisation.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives at the intersection of software development, cloud infrastructure, and automation., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
  • Strong Linux administration, networking, and scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
