Job description

  • We work directly with Account Executives to support customers and prospects across EMEA.
  • We help our sales team show prospects what is possible with Contentful and how it compares with older legacy technologies.
  • We understand prospect project requirements, validate them against our platform, and identify and mitigate technical and business risks.
  • We create product demonstrations and assist with technical evaluations to show how our platform solves business problems and integrates into a prospects technology stack.
  • We communicate prospect and customer needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales.
  • We collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to help newly signed customers successfully implement and launch their projects with Contentful.
  • We may travel up to 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • We are looking for candidates with experience in the DACH, Nordics, French, or Southern EMEA regions.
  • We need people who can thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple opportunities and teams.
  • You should have 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Architect, or Solution Consultant at a cloud-based, growth-oriented PaaS or SaaS company, or 5-10 years of experience as a developer working on digital experience delivery using marketing technology platforms focused on CMS, Commerce, Personalisation, and similar areas.
  • You should have strong presentation skills and be able to clearly and sympathetically communicate business and technical knowledge to both marketing-focused and technical audiences.
  • You should have proven experience with current web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, and CI/CD.
  • You should have a high degree of emotional intelligence to navigate meetings with multiple customer stakeholders.
  • You should have a natural curiosity about how technology drives change and creates business value.
  • Fluency in written and verbal communication in at least one European language, such as German, Swedish, French, or Spanish, is a strong plus.
  • Experience with a Content Management Platform or similar MarTech technology is highly desired.
  • Experience with solution selling methodologies and/or value-based selling techniques is highly desired.
  • Understanding of MACH products and composable architectures is highly desired.
