Job description

A large financial services organisation is investing heavily in its control environment and is looking for a ServiceNow SME to help shape how critical business and technology processes are captured, governed and evidenced.

This is a role for someone who understands both the platform and the wider operational landscape around it. You will sit between business stakeholders, governance teams and technology functions, helping translate complex requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions that support transparency, control and regulatory expectations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow across governance, controls and data-related initiatives.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to define, prioritise and deliver platform enhancements.
  • Improve the quality, structure and usability of information held within ServiceNow.
  • Map dependencies, processes and operational workflows across complex environments.
  • Support reporting and management information requirements through enhanced data visibility and governance.
  • Drive adoption of platform capabilities through stakeholder engagement, workshops and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to ongoing transformation programmes focused on risk reduction, control optimisation and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly GRC, CMDB and workflow automation capabilities.
  • Experience operating in regulated or highly controlled environments.
  • Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to elicit requirements and convert them into practical solutions.
  • Understanding of governance, controls, asset management or operational resilience concepts.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy, process efficiency and continuous improvement.
