Senior Software Engineer

• Own the front end for a data-rich desktop application
• Build modular, reusable WPF components from scratch
• Create clean, performant GUIs for different display systems in naval environments
• Work from wireframes supplied by our Canadian design lead
• Develop the UI to consume and present real-time data streams
• Contribute to a greenfield system being built from scratch
• Help shape the early UK team, with potential progression into a team lead role

• 5+ years of C# WPF/XAML engineering experience
• Strong experience with MVVM, DI, and modular UI architecture
• Experience working with real-time or streamed data in a desktop GUI
• Familiarity with N-tier and message-based architecture
• Eligible for SC security clearance
• Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline preferred

We are a well-established international technology company building a brand new system from scratch for deployment on military vessels around the world. This is a fast-paced greenfield opportunity with a client demo in January, and you will be among the first engineers into our UK team. The role is onsite in Portsmouth, Hampshire, in a circa 30-person office, with an up to £85,000 salary, benefits, and a 4-day working week with 40 hours and start/finish flexibility.
