Infrastructure Engineer

• Support the development, delivery, maintenance, and ongoing support of infrastructure environments.
• Work with network design principles, including security, redundancy, resilience, and risk management.
• Support and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Assist with the administration and support of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Support routing, switching, firewall, and VPN technologies.
• Monitor infrastructure and system performance using monitoring and alerting tools.
• Provide technical support to both customers and internal teams.
• Support the delivery of internal and customer infrastructure projects.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and system-related issues.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites when needed.

We are a growing technical team supporting secure, enterprise IT environments in East Birmingham (Marston Green). This is a full-time, on-site Infrastructure Engineer role offering a salary of £38,000 to £45,000 plus benefits. You will work across Windows infrastructure, networking, security, and customer-focused technical support in a highly secure operational setting, with the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure solutions for both our internal systems and customer environments.

• Candidates must be eligible for DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance.

• Good knowledge of enterprise infrastructure hardware.

• Experience using monitoring and performance management tools.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
