You will work closely with technical leaders, product owners, and architects to build highly reliable services using modern engineering practices. As a senior member of the team, you will work towards and help mentor software engineers, sharing your knowledge of industry standards for cloud-native software development., The Brokerage Record Technology Tax Engineering team within Fidelity Wealth Technology is looking for a hard-working and expert Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, enhance, and modernize our mission?critical tax processing systems. You will collaborate closely with architecture, product, and business partners to build reliable, scalable solutions that support Fidelity's brokerage and tax processing platforms.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of software engineering experience
4+ years of experience building RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot
2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD (Jenkins Core)
Experience collaborating on engineering teams and willingness to mentor junior engineers
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in crafting microservices using software design patterns, the Twelve-Factor App methodology, and SDLC principles
Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Expertise with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging platforms including Kafka, SNS, and SQS
Deep understanding of AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Batch,Dynamo Database, EC2, SQS, SNS, Aurora postgres database and associated scaling mechanisms
Proficiency in relational databases and SQL
