Job description
Our client, a leading innovator in transportation technology, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting the operational uptime of their fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and meticulous documentation skills, which will align successfully in the organization., * Serve as the primary technical escalation point for real-time issues related to Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems, including passenger displays, audio/visual alerts, interior cameras, and cabin interaction modules.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis through log reviews (Linux/Android logs) and electrical diagnostics to resolve complex hardware and software failures.
- Lead trend monitoring efforts by analyzing fleet data to identify failure patterns and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive troubleshooting guides to empower field technicians in resolving issues independently.
- Perform hardware validation and functional testing of new HMI components and firmware updates, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or autonomous vehicle sectors, focusing on infotainment, display technologies, or cockpit electronics.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting communication protocols such as LVDS, Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
- Familiarity with display technologies (LCD/OLED), touch controllers, and audio amplifiers.
- Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts to diagnose wiring and component issues.
