Job description

We're looking for a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to serve as our organization's dedicated technical resource. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, maintaining company systems, providing employee IT support, and helping improve internal processes through technology.

This entry- to mid-level role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, employee training, and cybersecurity awareness to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient operations across the organization., * Manage and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including: SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

  • Manage user accounts, licensing, permissions, and security policies.
  • Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Train employees on company IT standards, information security best practices, and internal technology processes.
  • Monitor and maintain computers, mobile devices, network infrastructure, and software systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and system performance issues.
  • Maintain and improve workflow automations, forms, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain internal IT documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies that improve efficiency, security, and productivity.
  • Support information security initiatives including access control, account security, device management, and end-user awareness training.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Level II - IT Systems Administrator II

  • 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Experience implementing and managing workflow automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure and system administration.
  • Experience serving as a primary or lead IT resource within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues., * Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with access control, user provisioning, and security administration.
  • Exposure to relational databases, APIs, and/or business system integrations.
  • Experience working in a small business environment where versatility and self-direction are important.
