Job description

A client in the Houston, TX area is looking for a Principal ServiceNow Developer to join their team. This person will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and ITIL best practices. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, transforming complex requirements into streamlined processes that enhance operational efficiency and user experience. On a daily basis, candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with business priorities. You will configure and develop platform capabilities, including workflows, integrations, and custom applications, while ensuring data integrity within the CMDB and overall platform health. technical guidance to development teams, support testing and quality assurance efforts, and maintain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance. You will also stay current on ServiceNow innovations and continuously identify opportunities to automate processes and improve service delivery. This individual must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with multiple groups and individuals. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $65-75/hr., 8+ years of ServiceNow hands on experience 3+ years of Lead/Architect level experience Proficient experience working with ITOM and ITSM services and functions Hands on experience conducting configuration, scripting, and development across ITSM, ITIL, ITOM, GRC, and Service Mapping Strong experience with ITIL frameworks, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) High school diploma or GED equivalent

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hands on experience troubleshooting and supporting CSM (Case Management, portals, workflows, and integrations) ServiceNow Certifications Familiarity with DevOps and Agile concepts and methodologies Previous O&G industry experience
