In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, fiber optic networks, and telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity for a variety of clients, from data centers to commercial facilities. We are looking for motivated professionals who thrive in field service environments and are eager to deliver top-tier customer service through technical excellence., * Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cables in diverse settings such as data centers, offices, and industrial sites
- Perform fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to establish high-speed communication links
- Use diagnostic tools and telecommunications testing equipment to troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for accurate system setup
- Conduct network wiring and equipment installation for Ethernet, Cisco routers, Juniper devices, VoIP systems, and other telecommunication hardware
- Implement low-voltage electrical wiring solutions compliant with NEC standards while ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform radio frequency (RF) testing and telecommunications system assessments to verify signal integrity and system functionality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role within telecommunications or IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet standards, and network wiring techniques
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, fiber optic systems installation, and telecommunications testing equipment
- Familiarity with Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Avaya telephony systems, and VoIP technology
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, electrical testers such as ohmmeters, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Electrical experience with AC/DC systems and low-voltage electrical wiring required for telecommunications installations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel frequently for on-site installations and maintenance tasks
