Salesforce Admin, Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Customer Solutions, the Salesforce Analyst/Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise Salesforce CRM solutions, with responsibilities aligned to experience and role level. This role focuses on hands-on platform development to support customer-facing and revenue-related business processes, including lead management, opportunity management, quoting, pricing, and downstream integrations.
The Salesforce Analyst/Developer works closely with CRM Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into high-quality, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. The role balances new feature delivery with ongoing platform support, continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
- Build and enhance Salesforce functionality to support lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-order, and customer lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and working solutions.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and unit tests, ensuring code quality, performance, and required test coverage.
- Implement and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and user interface enhancements aligned with UX and platform best practices.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Visualforce to support and remediate legacy components during the ongoing migration from Visualforce to a fully Lightning (LWC)-based environment.
- Actively participate in legacy remediation and technical debt reduction efforts by refactoring or retiring outdated Visualforce components, in collaboration with developers and architects, in favor of modern Lightning (LWC) solutions.
- Support Salesforce integrations with ERP, pricing, and other enterprise systems using APIs and event-based patterns, in collaboration with integration teams.
- Participate in release management activities, including code promotion across environments, deployment planning, and production releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production support incidents related to Salesforce applications.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and data access controls.
- Contribute to established platform standards, reusable components, and development best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration details, and post-implementation learnings.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
