Haus is seeking a UI Designer to join our Los Angeles team. In this role, you will build and maintain high-fidelity design system components in Figma, translating system logic into polished, reusable, and on-brand UI elements. You will report to the Creative Director and partner closely with UX Designers to ensure every component is well-crafted visually and structurally sound. Requirements

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain high-fidelity UI components in Figma leveraging best practices: auto layout, variants, components, etc.
  • Manage and update design token architecture to support seamless theming and platform scaling
  • Organize and maintain icon libraries, illustration sets, and other shared visual assets
  • Support accessibility checks on components, particularly around color contrast, legibility and visual hierarchy
  • Draft release notes and change logs summarizing what's new, changed, or deprecated with each system update
  • Support visual QA of engineering implementations against Figma source files

Requirements

  • 3+ years of user interface design experience with deep understanding of component libraries and design systems
  • Expert-level Figma skills, including auto layout, variants, components and tokens
  • Strong visual design fundamentals in typography, color, spacing, and layout
  • Familiarity with design token architecture and how tokens map across themes and platforms
