Job description

Provide valuable support to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of weapons systems for the Surface Navy.

Support Software Configuration Management, including:

  • Provide configuration control by reviewing problem reports and software change requests for impact to current weapon system design and functionality.

  • Attend change control board meetings to present findings and track status of implementation of changes as appropriate.

  • Provide configuration status accounting by generating reports and presentation materials to support technical points of contact and technical project leads.

  • Provide configuration auditing as requested

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements as appropriate.

Requirements

A minimum 4-year STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) required for this program., Required:

BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline and 0-3 years of experience required.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products.

  • Working knowledge of Aegis Combat/Weapon Systems.

  • Need to have the ability to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret Level Security Clearance. Active Secret Security Clearance is a plus.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$76,000 - 155,700 USD
