Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. This role will provide hands-on technical support for end users while assisting with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of client systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in desktop support with exposure to servers, firewalls, networking, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and security best practices. This position is a great fit for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting across multiple technologies and supporting both users and infrastructure., * Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support and maintain Windows environments, Microsoft 365, SaaS applications, and business-critical applications
- Assist with server monitoring, troubleshooting, access management, and basic administration tasks
- Support network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, VLANs, VPNs, and TCP/IP troubleshooting
- Assist with firewall troubleshooting, configuration reviews, and security-related support
- Perform user administration including account setup, permissions, password resets, and access troubleshooting
- Support virtualization environments and cloud platforms including AWS/Azure
- Assist with backups, system maintenance, and infrastructure projects
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and third-party providers to resolve technical issues
- Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements and implement IT best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or MSP experience
- Strong desktop and end-user support experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and SaaS applications
- Knowledge of servers, networking, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Exposure to firewall technologies and security best practices
- Experience supporting virtualization technologies and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
