Job description

  • Responsible for design and support of R&D projects including manufacturing process development through production release and support of legacy power supply products.
  • Evaluate customer specifications and convert requirements into internal specifications. Design of space grade magnetic components (inductors & transformers).
  • Work with manufacturing team to optimize processes for manufacturability, cost, and quality.
  • Provide production line support for power products.
  • Utilize CAD tools to design and fabricate PCBAs, tooling and fixtures.
  • Perform product testing, analyze test data, and publish test reports.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Zero to five years electrical engineering experience-based product development.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and ability to translate design and process ideas to useable specifications is required.
  • Ability to work independently to develop or manage complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and/or project leader.
  • A high degree of customer service orientation.
